YouTube Star P2istheName (Philip Enewally) Tragically Dies at 26—Fans in Shock!

YouTuber P2istheName, real name Philip Enewally, passed away on Friday at just 26 years old.

“He was a super positive, happy dude, really good energy all the time. So it’s really sad that he had passed. So RIP to P2 man… some prayers are with him and his loved ones and his family,” @yoxic said in a video posted online.

Podcaster Walter Weekes also paid tribute to Enewally on X, writing, “RIP To A Real One, we would talk about real estate and content creation behind the scenes! P2isthename!”

“My good friend @P2istheName has passed away… wow,” YouTuber COLETHEMAN posted on X. “I’m honestly at a loss for words. He was always so kind to me and gave me so much content creation advice. May he rest in peace. This breaks my heart.”

YouTube wasn’t his first plan—it came after he graduated. “I stacked up money from my job, then quit once I had enough to buy my YouTube setup. I was juggling school and YouTube at the same time. But when my channel started blowing up, I decided to drop out,” he shared.

Enewally lost his mom to breast cancer when he was just 12, a tragedy he said “shaped me as a person.” After that, he was raised by his dad, a probation officer who was all about education. His dad wasn’t too sold on his YouTube career at first, but over time, he came around.

When it came to content creation, Enewally was all about connecting with people. “I think my biggest strength is understanding emotions. When I drop a video, I have the power to change someone’s day—whether it’s making them laugh, hyping them up, or just bringing crazy energy,” he explained. “Filming and editing videos is like an art. As a creator, you can make people laugh, scare them, make them think, or just put a smile on their face. It’s honestly an unreal feeling.”

Philip Enewally was born on April 23, 1998, and grew up just outside of LA. He spent his last two years of high school at La Mirada High and used to hang out at Cerritos Park East a lot as a kid. He also once called the Cerritos Library “the greatest library in the world.”

“I’ve got so many memories here. Every day after school, I’d wait for my parents to get off work—just chilling, doing homework, and watching YouTube videos. This place is what made me want to be a YouTuber,” Enewally shared.
